Household of God: Holy
Nation
By: Group 6
Introduction
What is Establishment of the Household of GOD: Holy Nation

As we all know that, building a structure such as house or school building is

not that easy. It will take some effort which includes planning, providing the
needed materials and the working together of human resources or manpower.
In the same manner,

Establishing a nation is challenging. We need leaders and the same active

participation of the people. We need also to plan together and execute
properly those plans.

In the bible, the people of Israel did not become immediately a nation. This
was achieve during the time of King David ( Background story of King
David)
What does King
David want?
. David desires to build a permanent house for
the Ark of the Covenant.
What kind of
King is David?
2 Samuel 8:15
What does God
promise David for the
future?
The lord said to david, and during the
time when I appointed judges to lead
my people Israel. Instead, I will give
you relief from all your enemies. The
Lord declares to you that he himself
will build a dynastic house for you.
Who would build
the temple?
1 Kings 5:5
FACT:
Israel has had no king for over 2500 years
Now, what does CCC teaches
about the establishment of the
household of GOD: Holy Nation?
 CCC teaches that “Human society can be neither well-orders
nor prosperous unless it has some people invested with
legitimate authority to preserve its institutions and to devote
themselves as far as is necessary to work a care for good of
all”
 Church teaches that there exists an intimate bon between
solidarity and the common good, between solidarity and the
universal destinations of goods, between solidarity and
equality among men and people, between solidarity and
peace in the world.
What is the Missionary Response as a citizens of
our beloved nation, we are called upon to take part
in building it to become a holy nation. We can do it
by:
1. Praying that our nation will be guided and directly by God;
2. Being aware of issues and problems that can prevent the
building-up of our nations
3. Discussing in class possible solutions to those problems or
hindrances; and
4. Using the social media to promote Christian
values that can help build our nation;
5. Supporting leaders that promote Christian
values in their services
6. Obeying laws that promote peace and order in
our nation and
7. Supporting advocacies that promote peace and
unity.
