ABSTRACT
Avatar Highway is an initiative to brainstorm research and development, which
directly linking vehicles communication systems and/or passenger mobile’s
application to their road surroundings in order to improve road safety and
efficiency. This technology draws on several disciplines, including automotive
engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, civil engineering, and computer
science. Avatar Highway targets improvements in both road safety and efficiency
by constructing comprehensive plan through three main initiative, which provides
an indicatives signs and markings facilitator for various road condition, physical
and virtual communications link between vehicles on the road, and thus, improve
operational efficiency of a traffic flow.
