VEGAN İNFLİGHT MEAL
RANGE FOR PREMİUM
CUSTOMERS

Qatar Airways has introduced its first range of fully vegan


dishes to its à la carte menu for Business Class passengers,
designed to cater to the increasing demand for plant-based
food

 The airline says that the newly crafted vegan dishes use
only fresh locally and internationally sourced ingredients
and are available to all Business Class passengers flying
from the airline’s hub, Hamad International Airport, and
selected flights into Doha.

Al Baker, said: “We always strive to provide our customers with
authentic and indulgent experiences in the skies. We are delighted
to incorporate a vegan main course choice to our on-board menu,
offering our passengers yet another lifestyle choice that redefines
the expectations from a five-star airline.”
 Vejetaryenlik ya da etyemezlik, çeşitli nedenlerle et, 
balık, kümes hayvanları tüketmemeye denir.

  Et tüketmemenin yanında ayrıca hayvanların ürettiği 


yumurta, süt, bal vb. ürünleri de yemeyenlere ise 
veganlar denir. 
VEGAN / VEGANLIK
 Vegan kelimesi, 1944 yılında Elsie Shrigley ve Donald
Watson tarafından vejetaryen (vegetarian) kelimesinden
türetilmiş. Veganizm, et ve süt ürünleriyle birlikte
hayvan kaynaklı yumurta, bal, deri, süet, yün ve ipek
gibi ürünleri de reddeder.” Veganlığın temelinde çevreyi
koruma, sağlıklı beslenme, dini inanışlar gibi sebepler
olsa da; en büyük neden, hayvanlara saygı...

 Condor Airlines has introduced SkyTab tablets for cabin


crew. The personal devices from Retail inMotion have
been introduced to optimise onboard sales and
communication, while also providing flight-related
documents.

 The SkyTabs include an inflight sales software, which is
specially adapted to the needs of Condor. Guests can pay
cashless with all common credit and giro cards, as well
as Apple and Google Pay. Receipts can be received
digitally on request. Product availability is displayed in
real time through live tracking of sales on each flight.
The software also optimises communication with all
interfaces of the supplier process for efficient logistics.

 They have the possibility to respond even better to the
needs of their guests on board and to customise onboard
sales according to their customers’ wishes, as well as
with their suppliers and partners.

 In the future, their crews could receive customer


information in their SkyTabs, in compliance with data
protection regulations so that they can address them by
name. This will make the onboard experience even more
personal for their guests, so they may gain a competitive
advantage.
CONDOR AIRLINES
 will be able to provide passengers with the most relevant
products and will allow them to pay via contactless
technology and access their receipts electronically after
the flight.
