changes in behaviour of the
learner through experience.

It results in the acquisition of


knowledge,skill,interest s,
attitudes etc.
RESOURCES
⚫A resource is a
source from which
benefit is
produced.

⚫It is acquired to
accomplish activity
or to achieve
desired outcomes.
LEARNING RESOURCES
 Learning resources
are those devices and
procedures that help
to make teaching and
learning more
interesting, more
stimulating, more
reinforcing and more
effective.
MEANING OF LEARNING
RESOURCES
Learning resource” means a resource used for
educational purposes in any format, real or
virtual, that: illustrates or supports one or more
elements of a course or course of study;
and  may enrich the learning experience of the
student or teacher”. 
LEARNING RESOURCE is the term used to describe
teaching and learning material. LEARNING RESOURCES
which teachers use to support and organise the teaching and
learning process For example  tools such as the blackboard,
white board, projector, i-pad,  Over head Projector,
Computer, posters, paintings, photographs, games, maps,
charts, apparatus, Activity cards, activity equipment,
Reference books, dictionaries, curriculum document, other
documents, music scores,  software, internet, radio/TV ,
Workbooks  and The Teacher  Guide  book etc.
The Definition of Learning Resources

 Learning resources is component of learning


activity which
may give someone knowledge, ability,  attitude,
conviction, emotion, and feeling. Learning resource
s give someone learning experiences and
 without learning resources the learning activity
will not run well.
In dictionary of instructional
technology says that learning
resources are any resources
 (people, instructional material,
instructional hardware, etc) which may
be used by a learner to bring about or
facilitate learning.

 for the learners for getting
fully absorbed in learning.
III. PRINCIPLE OF EDUCATIONAL VALUE
 LEARNING
RESOURCES should
recreate or provide
variety in teaching
learning situations.
 They should not be
employed for the
name sake.
IV. PRINCIPLE OF REALIZATION OF OBJECTIVES

Learning resources must


be capable and meaningful
for the proper realization
of teaching learning
objectives.

be simple enough so
that a student can
understand it and
enhance his learnig.

SUITABILITY

resources makes topic easy
to understand for the
students.it servv e the
purpose of teaching in most
effective manner.
VII. PRINCIPLE OF ACCURACY
 This principle states
that learning resources
should be accurate and
properly maintained in
order to provide better
learning.
VIII. PRINCIPLE OF SIZE

 LEARNING RESOURCE
should be prepared
considering size of a class.
 It should serve whole class.
 It should not be too small
neither too big.
IX. PRINCIPLE OF AVAILABILITY OF
RESOURCES

 Trained teacher
 Ability and skills in a
teacher to handle aid

decides the value of a thing
possessed by us. A teacher should
optimally utilize these resources.

labour and money.
3.Generate and cause optimum
teaching learning conditions.

PRESENTATION

The Purpose of Learning Resources

Learning resources is an information which is shared


and saved in many media.
The purpose of Learning resources is to help students in
study , there are many shape of it like edition, video,
software, combination of many format which can be
used by student or teacher.
Endeavoring of learning resources functionally will
give positive contribution to the process and the student
learning outcomes.
Endeavoring learning resources in learning activity in
school is to:
1. increasing the intensity, interest, and student intention
towards the learning program 
2. motivate student for finding purpose and the use of
study
3. motivate student to have independent attitude in study
and increasing togetherness with others
4. increasing student perception about environment reality
as part of life
5. habituate student to study with dynamic, creative, and
independent.
Learning resources eases the students
and the teacher in learning activity.
Learning resources better delivered to
the student before the learning activity
is started.
