COMBINE THE TWO SENTENCES USING So and Too!


Example:
Ita is busy. Sherly is busy

3. He goes to a movie twice a month. You go to a movie twice a month
4. His uncle is a teacher. His parents are teachers
5. He will come here tomorrow. She will come here tomorrow.
COMBINE THE TWO SENTENCES USING NEITHER AND EITHER
example:
I don’t like smoking. He doesn’t like smoking
- I don’t like smoking and he doesn’t either
- I don’t like smoking and neither does he

1. She is not ready for the test. I am not ready for the test
2. We didn’t play tennis yesterday. They didn’t play tennis yesterday
3. They can’t do the test in an hour. I can’t do the test in an hour
4. I have not met her. Ria has not met her
5. I don’t buy the book. They don’t buy the book.
COMBINE THE TWO SENTENCES USING But/While/Whereas
example:
Mr. Hasan is free now. Mrs. Endang is not free now
- Mr. Hasan is free now but Mrs. Endang is not
- Mr. Hasan is free now while Mrs. Endang is not
- Mr. Hasan is free now whereas Mrs. Endang is not

She hasn’t done the work. I have done the work


- She hasn’t done the work but I have
- She hasn’t done the work while I have
- She hasn’t done the work whereas I have

1. He will go to the movie tonight. We will not go to the movie


2. My aunt can’t speak English. My uncle can speak English
3. Izza went there yesterday. Anis didn’t go there yesterday
4. He was in the party last night. I was not in the party last night.
5. Ita is not in the library now. Sherly is in the library now
