Introduction
 Library is an essential integral of any institution.
 Staff and students consult the library for their information needs.
 Students are expected to use the library for their study and research.
 Hence, the need to familiarize with the University of Ibadan Library
(Kenneth Dike Library).
Definition of Library
 Library can be referred to as a physical or virtual space where
information needs could be satisfied.
 Library is referred to as an organized information system.

Library resources
 Printed resources: They are paper based information resources
such as books, periodicals etc
 Electronic resources: They are types of information resources in digital
format that could be read with the aid of computers or smart
devices. Some of the examples are video tapes, CD-ROM, disc etc.
