OUTPUT
• Any information that is processed by and sent out from a
computer or other electronic device is considered output.
• To transfer or transmit from the computer to a peripheral device
or communications line.
• This includes data produced at a software level, such as the result
of a calculation, or at a physical level, such as a printed
document.
WHAT IS THE FUNCTION OF OUTPUT DEVICES?
• PRINTER- Usually that means printing images and text onto paper.
There are numerous different types of printer, with Inkjet and laser
printers being two of the most common.
EXAMPLES OF OUTPUT DEVICES
• COMPUTER SPEAKER- Speakers are essential if you want a louder sound,
surround sound, fuller bass, or just a better quality of audio.
• HEADPHONES- For listening to music or monitoring live performances, both left
and right channels are required.
• PROJECTOR- It is widely used in classrooms and auditoriums for instruction and
slide presentations.
• PLOTTERS- is a computer hardware device much like a printer that is used for
printing vector graphics.
EXAMPLES OF OUTPUT DEVICES
• GPS- (Global Positioning System) the location accuracy
• SOUND CARD- is an expansion card or IC for producing sound on
a computer that can be heard through speakers or headphones.
• VIDEO CARD- A video card connects to the motherboard of
a computer system and generates output images to display.
• Braille reader- is an electronic device that allows a blind person to
read the text displayed on a computer monitor.
