Welding materials for manufacturing of low pressure rotors for high capacity nuclear power
plants: 1 – yield stress (MPa); 2 – Holding time at heat treatment rate (h); a – KP 75х0.8; b –
КП 65х0.8
Minimum requirements to properties of weld metal: min. 0.8 of the respective values for
base metal; δ, ψ, KCV values may not be lower than those for base metal; critical brittle
point may not exceed that of base metal

1 - preheating;
2 - welding of root sections;
3 - welding of cutting to a height of
15 mm (TIG);
4 - thermal rest;
5 - cooling;

7 - submerged arc welding (SAW);
