MSWLOGO

Introduction
o Full form of MSWLOGO is Microsoft Windows LANGUAGE OF GRAPHICS
ORIENTED.

o It is a programming Language.

o Developed by Seymour Papert and George Mills in USA in 1960.

o Used for drawing and doing Arithmetic operations using commands


The Parts of Logo Window are:

 Main Screen
 The Commander Window
Main screen
 The upper portion of the LOGO screen is the DRAWING AREA or the
MAIN Screen. It is also called as Graphic screen.

 The Main Screen displays the results of the work done in LOGO.

 The instructions given in LOGO language are known as commands.

 There is a small triangle in the center of the screen called TURTLE.


Commander Window
The Commander window is divided into three sections.

 Input Box: It is the area where LOGO commands are written.

 Recall List Box: It maintains a list of all the commands typed in the Input Box.

 Buttons: There are some buttons present in the Commander window called
CONTROL BUTONS.
Some frequently used buttons are
1. Reset button: Used to clear the LOGO Main Screen.
2. Execute button: Button used to run or execute the commands given in the
Input Box.
The results of the commands get displayed in the Main Screen
