UU No. 20 Tahun 2003, curriculum is a set of

and technique of learning in order to achieve
national education goals.

adalah suatu program pendidikan yang
disediakan untuk membelajarkan siswa yang

Curriculum
Baene (1986) discussed curriculum as follows:
A. Curriculum as product : syllabus, RPP, Media,
Instructional media
B. As program : the course of study offered by
school or college in form set of activity
C. As learning output : knowledge of content,
skills, attitudes, and behavior
D. As learning experience: impact on students’
lives and their experience
Function
 The adjustive or adaptive function: curriculum
functions as adaptive for the change of education
and needs in the future
 The integrating function: tool for individual people
that can integrate in society
 the differentiating function: serving students from
the diversity
 the propaeduetic function: to set up student for
getting higher level education, what can they do
 the selective function: give chance for select the
program based on their needs and ability

Syllabus
 The syllabus is defined as the documents that consist of
topics or portion covered in a particular subject
 Syllabus: outline the goal and objective of a subject that
applied in specific steps and technique in classroom
 A syllabus a requisite document for teaching in that it
serves to outline the basic elements of a course including
what topics will be covered, a weekly schedule, and a list
of tests, assignments, and their associated weightings
 A syllabus is a document that outlines all the essential
information about a college course
