Consumers Perception
Kumar (2014) The study titled “ An Overview of public perception
about the suitability of solar power panels as an alternative energy
source in Andhra Pradesh”
Cost and Benefit
Parmar (2016) The study titled “Benefit cost analysis of solar power
over on-grid electricity for residential systems: Is photovoltaic
technology really effective?” Investigates the cost and benefit of both
energy sources. This study proved that photovoltaic energy is
certainly effective in residential systems.
REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURE
Problem Encountered
Lahimer et al.,(2013)” Research and development aspects on decentralized
electrification options for rural household” study that rural electrification became
a complicated issue because of the users affordability, rural inaccessibility and
remoteness, low population, scarcity of energy resources, population growth, lack
of professionalism, and over-dependence on subsidies.
Strategies
Tezuka (2013) the study titled “A comparative study of households' electricity
consumption characteristics in Indonesia” focuses on understanding the
characteristics of household electricity consumption and its driving factors under
a variety of cultural backgrounds in a society plays an important role in designing
proper regulations, rules related to household energy savings in order to
maximize the resources.
Research Gap of the Study
The Research gap of the study is that this study will conduct a
comparative analysis of solar power technology over traditional
electrification system in selected municipalities in Camarines Norte.
The effectiveness of adapting solar or traditional in terms of cost and
benefit analysis. Maximizing the benefits and minimizing the cost in
order for the users to come up to a better expenditure decision.
