 ABSTRACT
● Electronic Commerce is process of doing business through computer
networks. A person sitting on his chair in front of a computer can
access all the facilities of the Internet to buy or sell the products.
● Unlike traditional commerce that is carried out physically with effort
of a person to go & get products, ecommerce has made it easier for
human to reduce physical work and to save time.
● The main advantage of e-commerce over traditional commerce is the
user can browse online shops, compare prices and order merchandise
sitting at home on their PC.
● Our project is mainly aimed according to the current situation where
local businesses are having tough time to survive due to lockdown
and Corona virus pandemic. But as we have seen in the case of baba
ka dhaba a Delhi based dhaba which shook the internet by just
recording a video and uploading it, so internet has power to change
the lives of local businesses.
● E-commerce website would do a great deal of help to local vendors
who are hard hit due to this pandemic.
 INTRODUCTION
● Due to the current scenario local businesses have hit hard
and are finding it difficult to sustain their businesses.This
pandemic has created lot of terror and the worst hit are local
businesses who doesn’t have good marketing.
● We have seen in the case of "baba ka dhaba",where their fate
has changed absolutely from rags to riches due to internet.
● So we have decided to opt this project where in local
businesses can sell their products online which can be very
helpful as there is no physical contact.
● Across india there are many businesses which are good
enough but do not have a platform to sell their products,our
E-commerce website can be a game changer and can do a
great deal of help developing the businesses.
 OBJECTIVE

The main objective of this project is to build a website(software)

which will help tribe and local business by selling their products
to people. Making their product profitable and also useful to
many at the sametime.
 EXISTING
SYSTEM

Traditional way of buying, one has to leave home, either walk or take a ride to the
store or shopping centre in order to buy what one wants. Traditional
shopping enables one to see the actual product before paying the money. One
could get the actual product that he or she likes with the money and there are
certain drawbacks.

Disadvantages:
The motivation behind this project is to overcome all the defects in the
existing system.
● Customers need to go shop for purchasing items
● Customers can view a limited range of products
● Cannot compare prices with the other stores
● Limited customer reach. Customers from a certain area go for shopping
 PROPOSED SYSTEM

The E-commerce Management System has many advantages, compared to traditional

stores as one can compare the cost of a product with other e-commerce websites, and
if a user dislikes any product he/she can return it. While we can make use of the
current technology to overcome the problem with the existing system.

● Faster buying /selling procedure, as well as easy to find products
● Buying/selling 24/7
● More reach to customers, there is no geographic limitations
● Low operational costs and better quality of services
● Easy to start and manage a business
