INTRODUCTION

Hypnobirthing method was found in 1950.


In USA was found on 1987 . A health
practitioner who take a specialist mind
and soul therapeutics, Michelle
Leclaire O’Neil, Ph.D, about the
correlation between the body, fertility,
pregnancy, preterm labour, and post
partum blue.
In developing, this method is popular with
hypnobirthing, but the hypnobirthing
established by Marie F. Mongan, M.Ed,
M.Hy a hypnoterapist and
hypnoanesteciology certified from New
Hampshire, USA. Hypnobirthing
method represent the combination of
self hypnosis and natural delivery
process.
WHAT IS HYPNOBIRTHING????
Hypnobirthing is a complete
birth education programme,
that teaches simple method
but specific self-hypnosis,
relaxation and breathing
techniques for a better birth.
HypnoBirthing is much more
than just self hypnosis or
hypnotherapy for childbirth.
Who is Hypnobirthing Suitable For??
– First time mums and mums
who’ve had kids before.
– Mother in post partum to
avoid post partum blue.
Hypnobirthing can do during
pregnancy. But, in general do
at 7th month of pregnancy or
2 week before delivery
process.
Can do twice a day, at the
morning or before sleep at
the night.
As good as possible doing with
husband so that created
spiritual relation together.
WHAT ARE BENEFITS OF HYPNOBIRTHING??
a. For Mother and Baby
• A more relaxed and enjoyable pregnancy

of special circumstances arising

b. For Fathers or Birthing Companions
During the pregnancy they work with their
partners in preparation for the birth, in a
way that can help them bond with both
their partners and the babies. During the
birth, the birthing companion’s
involvement is vital in assisting the mother
to stay as relaxed as possible
HOW TO DO THE HYPNOBIRTHING
1. The body position make
comfortable, with sit down or to
lying down or sloping, doing with
left sloping it can to repair
circulation of blood to womb or
plasenta.
2. All of the body in relax condition.
Close your eyes and start to have
deep breathing with nose,
regularly and slowly. Relax all of
muscle in the body and rest the
brain. Concentration the purpose
of doing hypnobirthing and
relaxation.
3. Reflected an intention
comfortable delivery process and
happiness, fluent delivery
process, with reflection funny and
sweet baby that health.

4. After the condition relax, set up the
suggestion and positive intention in
upper conscious mind set.
Example, “ I can do natural well
and normal labour process” or “My
baby is in a good condition”.
5. If will finish, make the muscle more
relax with long breathing and
slowly breath out with nose. Back
to normal condition and ready to do
other activity or rest.
6. During labour process, mother
keeps on calm, takes breath
regularly, manages energy during
contraction process, in order that
the energy will not be useless.
