ORIGIN OF THE CAR:
Driving can be exhausting. What with all the pressing on the gas pedal,
braking, and holding on to the steering wheel. Imagine taking the physical
aspect out of it and letting your mind do the driving.
German researchers have turned a Volkswagen Passat into the latest sci-fi
vehicle, equipping it with an electroencephalography system (designed for
gaming) so it can be controlled by a human brain.
once the driver reaches near the car the security system of the car is
activated
Images of the driver are previously fed in the data base of the computer
the images match with the data base entries then the security system
advances to the next stage
Once the driver passes this stage the doors slides to the sides and a
ramp is lowered from its floor
Cntd….
As soon as the driver is seated the EEG (electroencephalogram)
helmet, attached to the top of the seat , is lowered and suitably
placed on the driver’ head
For starting the car, the start button is clicked accordingly the
computer switches ON the circuit from the battery to the A.C
series induction motars

The LF-ASD switch traces the motor neurons in the brain .when the
driver attempts to any physical movement it sends an impulse to the
motar neuron

• The sensors placed at the front and rear ends of the car, will send a live
feedback of the environment to the computer
Advantages
• Hardware costs are significantly lower than those of all other
techniques.
• EEG does not involve exposure to high-intensity (>1 Tesla)
magnetic fields, as in some of the other techniques
• Modern trends are implemented now-a-days.
• Car can be controlled with out any muscular motion.
• It is very useful for a patient who is suffering from
PARALYSIS.
Disadvantages
EEG determines neural activity that occurs below the
upper layers of the brain (the cortex) very poorly.
Highly expensive.
