MISSION OF THE UNIVERSITY
The University shall primarily provide advanced professional and
technical instruction for special purposes, advanced studies in industrial
trade, agriculture, fishery, forestry, aeronautics and land-based
programs, arts and sciences, health sciences, information technology
and other relevant fields of study. It shall also undertake research and
extension services and provide progressive leadership in its areas of
specialization (Sec.2 of RA 9744).
GOAL OF THE UNIVERSITY

The University shall produce scientifically and


technologically oriented human capital equipped with
appropriate knowledge, skills and attitudes. It shall
likewise pursue relevant research, strengthen linkages
with the industry, community, and other institutions,
and maintain sustainable technology for the
preservation of the environment.
 
GOALS OF THE COLLEGE
1. Generate linkage with the tourism related industries in the local,
regional, national and international agencies to provide an improved
quality and excellence in hotel and restaurant industry;
2. Assure proper job placement for the graduates in the national and
international ;
3. Establish programs for faculty and student in-service-training,
regularly scheduled seminars, workshop and conferences among the
teachers to insecure an effective hotel and restaurant services
information transfer.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course will develop knowledge, skills and attitude in ensuring the work
environment of the organization fits the industry professional. Topics include:
• Planning and designing workstations to create efficient and effective
workplaces
• Selecting workstation furnishings to provide flexibility and adaptability for
workers.
• Designing lighting for proper illumination on work areas
• Creating work areas where noise is controlled for normal operation to be
done in the work station
