Approved Supplier List

* Supply Chain concern will find out and check FSC certified
material (paper) supplier through –
https://info.fsc.org/certificate.php
* He will make approved supplier list and concern MCD will
evaluate the supplier certification validity every time he receives
any raw material.

Purchase Order (P.O) Issue to Supplier

• In line with order received from vendor Supply Chain concern

will raise Purchase Order (P.O) to approved supplier based on
material category, quantity, price, lead-time.
• In purchase Order below information must be included along
with general information-
 FSC Claim of Required Material ( FSC 100% or FSC MIX or
FSC RECYCLED)..Say FSC MIX

Raw Material Receive & Document Verification

• MCD concern receive raw materials from supplier and
verify supplier below transport documents against actual
purchase order.
- Supplier Invoice/Packing List
- Delivery Challan .
• He will verify below information :
- FSC Claim mention on
invoice/challan.
- Supplier FSC COC No.
- Quantity received.
• Quality Should be
checked by IQC

Storage of FSC Certified Material

• The material is stored in a designated

FSC material storage area where
different material category can easily
be identified and segregated by color
code and do labeling accordingly.
• Green Color for FSC 100%
• Yellow Color for FSC MIX
• Red Color for FSC RECYCLED

FSC Certified Product Order Receive

• As soon as any get any FSC claimed order, they will check if
we have enough material to complete the order
• Concern DEO process the FSC Individual item into ERP
system.
• Designer arrange the layout for individual item and send it to
certifier for logo approval

Releasing FSC order for production

• After logo approval, CS will acknowledge the EWO from ERP

system
• Order details along with FSC Claim will be mentioned with
Item details.
• Planning Department plan the order and Production team will
print the job sheet from ERP system accordingly and start
production.

Selecting the designated m/c for production

• After reviewing job sheet and based on order quantity

production manager select the designated machine(s) for FSC
Claimed product production and mention it on the job sheet
with operators names and handover to print supervisor.
• Production concern will calculate the required raw-materials
by considering the wastage percentage and issuing the
material requisition slip to store

Designated Machine For FSC Work

• Machine that used for FSC work should be designated and

visual signboard / identification will be there as ‘FSC
Certified Material Processing’

Material Movement Within The Production Process

• FSC certified material always moved

within the production process (m/c to m/c)
or keep inside the production floor as WIP
must be through color palate or trolley or
labeled carton/box as per FSC Claim color
code. Machine operator should identify
the job through this color.

Finished Goods Store

• As like raw material FSC finished goods also will stored as

per FSC Claim and color code accordingly.

FSC Goods Shipping Documents

• Shipping documents for FSC finished goods like invoice , delivery

challan, packing list should made as per FSC Claim mentioned clearly on
it.

• Below information should be on the document :

 FSC Claim
 Our contact address
 Name and address of the customer
 Date when the document was issued
 Description of the product
 Quantity of the product sold
 Our FSC COC code
 Forest Stewardship Council

DOs

• Every FSC claimed document should be traceable

• Every FSC claimed document should have FSC CoC no.
mentioned on it
• Volume control of FSC goods should be updated
• FSC claimed raw materials and finished goods has to be kept
separately
• Required checklist should be pasted on designated area
• All relevant people should know the basic FSC CoC

Don’ts

• Don’t proceed any order without logo/ layout approval

approved by certifier
• Don’t mix FSC claimed goods/ raw material with any other
goods
• Don’t move any finished goods or raw material without the
permission of supervisor
