PRE-MARITAL SEX & EARLY PREGNANCY

INTRODUCTION:
Today, due to the advances in technology and its impact on the quality of life, addressing health and its
influencing factors has become important. Also, providing health for society is considered as one of the
main issues in any country. Sexual behaviors of adolescents and youth are categorized as one of the main
health priorities of society because of the high prevalence of human immunodeficiency virus/acquired
immunodeficiency syndrome (HIV/AIDS), sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and unwanted
pregnancies.
PURPOSE:

• This qualitative research study is part of an expanded qualitative research study conducted to explain the
patterns of risky sexual behavior in adolescents and youth and to explain the functions of the family in
shaping premarital sexual relations.
• To spread awareness of this type of certain issue amongst every people while amid a pandemic.

• To imply knowledge among young people especially in their homes and schools to prevent
continuous rise of cases in most developing countries.
• The main motive of this project is to inform everyone and to signify broad knowledge about the risks of
early pregnancy.

• Illustrate the effects of Pre-Marital Sex and Early Pregnancy that can also lead to specific types of
illnesses such as HIV{Human Immunodeficiency Virus}/AIDS {Acquired Immune Deficiency
Syndrome}and STI’s {Sexually Transmitted Infections}.
DESCRIPTION
:
• We would be having an orientation about the rising numbers of cases of Pre-Marital Sex and Early
Pregnancy

• The event would be held at Don Edelberto Vocal Sr. Gymnasium near the Manapla Public Plaza. The
event will start at 10:00 am in the morning and will end at 3:00 pm in the afternoon.

• To those who will visit the event will be given free lunch and free checkup at the local clinic near
the municipal hall.

• Topics that will be discussed would be prevention of; {HIV/AIDS,STI’s and Unwanted Pregnancy}
