Current Condition
• Current backup software for backing up all
server and database is HPE Data Protector 6.2
• Current backup software is already obsoleted
version.
• Backup Software is handling Filesystem and
Bare metal Backup
• Tape Backup is still used using backup
software
• Currently Backup Database Oracle using
RMAN script due to error backup using backup
software
• Backup Oracle Database is stored at Disk
• No Restore testing periodically

Maintenance • Main Objective :
Backup - Handling troubleshoot for error issue related to
(Corrective) backup and restore activity
- Analyzing and solving error that occurred on
backup system infrastructure

• Activity Period :
- 60 tickets in a year
• Execution Method :
- Remote Support handling (prior to on site)
- On Site support when remote is not possible to
do, and after office hour or weekend
Maintenance • Main Objective :
Backup - Prevent failed backup job when executing
(Preventive) backup policy or script on Backup Software or
manual backup script.
- Analyze backup system infrastructure for
capacity insufficient possibility that could be
reach on a backup store device.
• Activity Period :
- Quarterly in a year
• Execution Method :
- Remote Support handling (prior to on site)
- On Site support when remote is not possible to do,
and after office hour or weekend
 • Main Objective :
- Monitoring Regular Backup on Backup Software
or manual script for Full backup Weekly, Monthly
and Yearly.
- Monitoring Backup process when backup job is
running and finished
Monitoring • Activity Period :
Backup - Daily Checking before running , after running
(middle of backup about 50%), after finished
• Execution Method :
- Remote Support handling (prior to on site)
- On Site support when remote is not possible
to do, and after office hour or weekend
