Women's Rights and Islamic Family Law

HAM actually appeared at the end of 1948 when it was successfully launched human rights charter. Indeed, during
World War II (1 September 1939) very influential on the birth of the concept of human rights itself. In some many
concepts which state that the concept of human rights applies universal where in article 7 which states that
"Everyone is equal in before the law and are entitled to equal protection of the law without discrimination
Talking about the position of women in Islam as a universal teaching.what is the concept of human rights and
human rights according to Islam; what are human rights and human rights.it's a western product. Then see the
comments of Ninik Rahayu, vice chairman of the National Commission Women (Komnas Perempuan) for the
period 2007-2009, talked about perspectives personal. According to him, to this day, Islam has opened a space for
universalism on basic human rights and women's rights.

On Egypt and others, co-written by Asifa Quraishi and Najeeba Syeed-Miller, in the United States. Lastly, by Lisa
Hajjar, is a global take on the issue of domestic violence in Muslim-majority societies. The choice of geographic
area is coherent. Reform of Islamic family law in the context of gender is considered in Egypt, where the legal
regime has Islamic elements but is subject to legislative modification; in Palestine, where the Muslim population
has elements of post-Oslo self-government, and is grappling with the role of sharia in laws to be created by the
Palestinian Authority, and in the United States, where Muslims are a culturally distinct minority committed to
delivering legal resolutions almost every social problem.

In Muslim societies, both internally and externally, there is no single interpretive context and the relationship
between state and religion is not uniform across these societies. In addition, each has specific experience with the
political form of religion and the international human rights movement. Thus, placing the issue of violence against
women in the public sphere adds to the issues of culture, state, modernity, nationalism, and sovereignty in the
discourse of religious law.

Meaning: O Prophet, say to your wives, your daughters and the
