OSN 900A
NG WDM
The OSC adopts different communication mode and protocols. Therefore, it is necessary to drop the OSC information of the OSN
900A through the SCC board, and then send the OSC information to the Ethernet management interface of the NG WDM through
the FE port, or OSC color-wavelength signal straightly access into the client side of ECOM board and then transport the OSC
signal to AUX board. Finally, the OSC information is transparently sent to the NMS through the IP over DCC function.

NG WDM Metro WDM
The electrical layer of the NG WDM product realizes centralized/distributed cross-connect flexibly, and
adopts OTN based line interfaces. The optical layer is reconstructable and supports the ASON function.
2. What are the tributary units and line units of the NG WDM product?
The tributary units of the NG WDM product include TQS, TQM, and TDG boards. The line units include
NS2 boards.
The NG WDM product supports large-granularity service bearing, with coverage ranging from regional trunk
line to the access layer; supports GE ADM networking; supports service convergence between any port in a
board (client side and system side) and multipoint-to-point service convergence of a network.
