COVID-19

STATISTICAL
REPORT

WHAT I S C O V I D ?
Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by the
SARS-CoV-2 virus.

Most people infected with the virus will experience mild to moderate
respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment. However,
some will become seriously ill and require medical attention. Older people
and those with underlying medical conditions like cardiovascular disease,
diabetes, chronic respiratory disease, or cancer are more likely to develop
serious illness. Anyone can get sick with COVID-19 and become seriously ill
or die at any age.

As can be seen, the number recovered in covid 19 is very

big. 367 of them are from the barangays of Bucal and
Paradahan I. The lowest recovery rate occurred in
Barangay Julugan II, when just three were recovered.
This chart is important since it demonstrates the rate of
recovery from this deadly covid-19.

The graphic shows the number of active covid cases in

Tanza. With 149 instances, Barangay Bucal has the
greatest number of covid actives. As can be observed,
Barangay Daang Amaya I and Julugan VII do not have
any current covid cases. It is essential to know the
location of the covid in order to prohibit individuals from
entering or departing the specified barangays.

This graph shows the number of fatalities caused by

covid 19 in the Municipality of Tanza. Barangay Biga
had the greatest death toll (16). According to the data, no
one in Barangay Julugan II or Amaya III has recovered
from the illness. It's awful to see how many people are
dying from this illness, therefore you should exercise
extra safety measures.

As a result, we must be cautious about this illness. The greatest

method to prevent and delay viral transmission is to educate
yourself about the illness. To avoid infection, keep at least 1
metre distance from people, wear a well fitting mask, and wash
your hands regularly. Get your vaccine when it's time and follow
local advice. It is unknown when this will stop; nevertheless, as
shown by the continued presence of many covid 19 active cases
in every barangay, let us exercise caution and pray to God for our
protection.
