First it would be dark on earth and

would always be night , and never will
there be day. And since there would be
no heat , it would be so cold that no living
thing would be able to survive .

The sun also keeps the planet in

orbit. If it suddenly disappeared , the
planets in the solar system would float
anywhere in space. That’s why the sun is
the most important thing in our life.
Without it, it would be nothing.

The sun gives us energy in the form of
heat and light energy .

It provides us energy , which gives life of

our planet. All organisms depend on the
sun for their growth and development .

Electricity in other places are generated

using solar or wind energy , which is also
dependent on the sun.

Plants need sunlight to make food in the

process called photosynthesis.

Man and animals get energy from the food

prepared by plants using sunlight .They
both need sunlight to produce Vitamin
D ,which makes our body healthy and
strong.
