When deciding whether to complete a training program in house or
outsource some aspects of it, what factors and perspectives should a
training manager consider? (Discuss the reasons for choosing
outsourced versus in-house training)

Factors a Training Manager must consider to complete a training program in-house and
outsource some aspects of it:
• Is the existing standard offering meeting the prescribed requirements?
• If it is not meeting, does the training manager have a feasible plan and
preparation to deliver the training by self?
• Is the newly developed process by the manager effective enough to meet the
requirements?
• Is outsourcing a feasible option in the provided budget?
What is your assessment of MRD's requirements? Based on the
information provided, do you think training program will meet MRD's
requirements?

MRD’s requirement are very specific and the timeline to finish the process are
stringent.

I believe the proposed training program will fit MRD's requirements because the trainer
(Pathak) has extensive experience doing strategic planning workshops, and Mehta was
impressed with his methods.

Furthermore, the trainer was certain that he could do what he stated, and he
persuaded Anand, who has extensive understanding of what he desired. Pathak even
used Anand's input to construct the course, indicating that he is meticulous in his
preparation and homework.
What are the decisions, tasks and activities that a training manager plan
and execute when conceptualizing, designing, and implementing an
effective training program?

• Is the training plan up to par with the requirements?

• What would be the cost-effectiveness of it?

• Is she going to be able to get the necessary permissions?

• Would the external expert, in particular, conduct a high-quality

training programme?
What factors do training managers consider in assessing the training
needs?

Training managers consider the following factors when analysing

training needs:
• Would participants learn about a number of strategic questions
that the company faces as part of the training?
• Would participants be able to learn how to create strategies
utilizing a range of approaches, frameworks, and analytical tools?
• Would a two-day intense program involving close group work help
teams bond more effectively?
