INTRODUCTION

• University is a place of higher learning where every students achive their

goals . (General Statment)
• ‘‘A university should be a place of light , of liberty and of learning ’’ –
Benjamin Disraeli .(Quates)
• A university is an institution of higher education and research which awards
academic degrees in several academic disciplines .
• Universities are public or private institutions that offer both undergraduate
and graduate degrees.(Definition)
• Does a university degree ensure or gurantee one a job ?(Rhetorical Q)
• I partially agree with statement .(Stand)
• A university degree does not ensure or guarantee one a job .

 POINT 1 : It doesn’t make us an expert Agree

• When you graduate with a degree in a particular field , we aren’t

going to know that much about that .(Elaboration 1)
• Because degree is a just a basic wisdom about how to operate in a
workplace .(Elaboration 2)
• But we are not going to be an expert in your field of study.

• For example lets say , the person graduated degree in business , but
it doesn’t include all the knowledge about business so that it will be

• Having a bachelor’s degree opens up rewarding opportunities that might

have otherwise been inaccessible. (Elaboration 1)

• A degree enables you to qualify for these additional opportunities and

offers you more flexibility in where you choose to work. (Elaboration 2)

• Not only are there more jobs available to degree holders than high school
graduates, but the existing jobs are also more accessible. (Elaboration 3)

higher are advertised online , only 50 percent of jobs requiring a high
school diploma are posted online, making it harder for these workers to

• Earning a degree is empowering; it boosts confidence and provides a

• The pursuit of higher education also equips you to master complex

• This may be why bachelor’s degree holders report higher levels of self-

esteem than high school graduates . (Elaboration 3)

worry because at least they have basic knowledge of the job compare to

• In conclusion , a university degree does and does not ensure one to get a job .

• We should consider any higher studies that will able to find a job easily .

• Having a job before attending a higher level of formal education is important for
graduated students since it provides additional income and some social skills
which play crucial role in their future.
