ISO 14001 is an international standard that sets out the requirements for an effective environmental
management system (EMS).

It specifies the necessities for an environmental management system that a corporation can use to reinforce
its environmental performance.

It is meant to be used by a corporation seeking to manage its environmental responsibilities during a
