against gravity while
standing, sitting or lying
down.
- It refers to the alignment of
the body segments

body whether on is walking,
sitting, running and
standing.

alignment and natural
curve of the back.

POSTURE

efficiency and endurance.
Proper posture keeps the
bones and joints in the correct
alignment so that muscles are
being used properly.
2. It contributes to an overall
feeling of well-being.

appearance: projects poise,
confidence, and dignity.
4. Good posture is also
prevention. Prevents the spine
from becoming flexed in
abnormal positions. Prevents
backache and muscular pain.
