Reward &
Management System

Rewards at Unilever:
Building a winning culture, in which every employee is encouraged to grow to
his or her full potential. Developed a performance-based reward structure that
recognises people have delivered results and have the right values for our
business.

UFlexReward Platform:

UFlexReward, feeds the employer data about its employees’

benefits preferences to enable it to provide personalised benefits
packages. It also collates all costs involved with benefits, such
as salary, pensions, bonus and shares, to give a picture of
employees ‘total reward.

Unilever offers its employees a wide range of benefits

and the platform gives the flexiblity to reduce or increase the
benefits included in their packages. Its
Flexible & Situational Rewards:

Offering a flexible, total reward offering has, therefore, enabled Unilever to provide
its employees with a personalised experience; they receive constant updates to
remind them of new benefits on offer, and which ones are best suited to their current
situation.

Rate my Reward:
HUL’s Total Reward Statements also have a unique feature in 'Rate-my-Reward'
through which people can tell what they think of every aspect of their package.
How important is each element to an individual? How satisfied are they with it?
Unilever want to see reward from employees' point of view and hear their
suggestions for improvements
Reward development plan:
Unilever create a longer-term Reward Development Plan for each country so that we can
continuously improve the relevance and effectiveness of the rewards we offer our people.
They know that reward is important. Reward should not be a 'black box’ and believe that
rewards should be 'open, fair, consistent and explainable' and
Unilever aim to deliver every aspect of this in everything they do.

Incentives:
Unilever also offer employees attractive incentives. If the company does well in meeting
its goals, our total pay should be around the top quarter of the market. That means that
pay for highly rated people making an exceptional contribution will be towards the top
of the market range.
It says - If we all work together to deliver excellent results for Unilever, we will be well
rewarded.
