INTRODUCTION
 Lead generation is the process of gaining the interest of
potential customers in order to increase future sales. So
social media lead generation is the process of collecting
new leads using social media.

 There is tremendous research gap in identifying traits for


the effective way to generate lead through social media
in Guwahati and Northeast India at large.
NEED OF THE STUDY
 To know the opinion of people for social networking
sites, how do they use it, what are the sites they use.
 What are the attractive form of advertisements and how
to improve the quality of advertisement
 To understand the attitude of customer about the ads of
social media.
OBJECTIVES
 To understand the effective way to generate lead on
social media in Guwahati, Assam.
 To analyze the attitude of social media user towards
social media ads in Guwahati, Assam

 Sampling technique: Random Sampling technique.


1. FINDING BASED ON OBJECTIVE: EFFECTIVE
WAY TO GENERATE LEADS THROUGH SOCIAL
MEDIA IN GUWAHATI, ASSAM.

 I have found that YouTube has the most active user base,
followed by Instagram and Face Book.
 I have found that People are using social media mostly in
Evening.
 I have found that Most of the consumers believe use of
regional language is important in advertisement
 I can observe that social media user like Video format in
advertising.
2. FINDING BASED ON ATTITUDE OF SOCIAL MEDIA
USER TOWARDS SOCIAL MEDIA ADS IN GUWAHATI,
ASSAM.

 I observed that maximum people are finding social


media ads are relevant.
 I found that majority respondent come across video ads
and the respondent click the ads depending upon ads on
social media.
 I found that maximum respondents said that social media
ads made neutral impact on them.
SUGGESTION AND RECOMMENDATIONS
 The company should launch a social media ad campaign
as finding says majority of the respondents are using
social media and also quite active on social media.
 The ad campaign will be effective with audio-visual
format composed in a major regional language of the
region.
 To reach the maximum number of customers the ad
should run on YouTube platform from Evening to Night
time and while to reach interested specific target
customer segments, the ad running on Instagram and
Facebook will be more fruitful.
CONCLUSION
 There are differences in consumer tastes based on
geography, ethnicity, linguistic throughout the world.
Thus, this study on Finding Effective Way To Generate
Lead On Social Media For Lead & Sales Company in
Guwahati will contribute to the records of research
works in understanding the consumers psyche, behavior
on social media of especially in Northeast region in the
digital era of modern market.
LIMITATION OF STUDY
 Respondents might not answer the questions seriously
which was one of the major limitations of the research
and that’s why it might not be perfect.
 The sample size is 100 which are very less
comparatively to the total population of Guwahati.
 The study was limited to only in Guwahati area.
