Agenda
I. * Objective

II. * FQHC Initiative

III. * Immediate Next Steps / Q&A

Federally Qualified Health Center
COVID-19 Relief and Hypertension Management

The AHA is partnering with FQHCs and community

clinics nationwide to address gaps in care, support
quality care coordination and improve patient outcomes,
but the current conditions make the need even greater.

Quest’s investment will support the AHA efforts to

provide evidence-based hypertension resources.

The data shows that people of color represent more than half of all people
tested and confirmed cases at FQHCs.
FQHCs will continue to play an important role in responding to the pandemic and
in providing access to care for communities disproportionately affected by
COVID-19, especially as job losses mount and the number of people who are
uninsured or covered by Medicaid rises.
