Many times, I don't hear the name. If you would like for
them to repeat their name, you can say,
"What was that again?"

Well, the weather in Korea is unique with four dis
tinct seasons. In the winter, the temperature is a
bout zero degrees Celsius. But, because it does
n't rain much in the winter, there isn't much snow
and the air is very dry. In spring, the days warm
up significantly but the night gets a little chilly. Th
e summer has two characteristics. It is very hot a
nd humid most of the time, and for about 3 week
s or so, we have a rainy season called monsoon.
It gets very rainy and windy during that time peri
od. But we all look forward to autumn. It is a bea
utiful time of year and the temperature is very pl
easant. If you plan on visiting Korea, I highly rec

I like summer the most, but at the same ti
me, I hate it. I like summer because it's wa
rm. I don't mind the heat and I like the long
er days. So, I can do more activities like s
wimming, bicycling, rollerblading, and man
y other outdoor activities. I usually take a s
hort vacation during the summer so I alwa
ys look forward to that. However, the part
about summer I hate the most is during th
e monsoon season. I can tolerate the humi
dity, but when it gets hot and humid along

• Feelings are long-lasting responses and they are
associated to an emotion, for example, a person can
feel happy after the excitement of winning an
award.
• happy - happiness.
• sad - sadness.
• angry - anger.
• scared - fear.
• surprised - surprise
General statements are usually short.
Here are a few examples.
