RESTORATION
After the 44 days war for the
return of lost lands, the first
construction works began in
Shusha. Of the 378 historical
and architectural monuments in
the city which was under
Armenian occupation for 30
years, 52 were partially and
others completely destroyed.
One of them is the museum-
mausoleum complex of Molla
Panah Vagif.
With the occupation of the city, the building
of the complex and dozens of exhibits
exhibited here were destroyed. During his
visit to Shusha President of the Republic of
Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev visited the
mausoleum and repair work was started
there. Every detail of monument has
preserved its historical appearance, the
entire infrastructure of the monument
complex has been reconstructed. On August
29, the museum-mausoleum complex of
Molla Panah Vagif was opened in Shusha
after repair and reconstruction works.
Another construction plan in
another city was an international
airport. In January 2021, President
of the Republic of Azerbaijan
Ilham Aliyev decided to build an
international airport in Fuzuli.
This airport was to be completed
by the end of 2021.
As a result, the first test flights
took place on September 5. the
airport was opened on October
26 by President of the
Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham
Aliyev and President of the
Republic of Turkey Recep
Tayyip Erdogan.
The restoration of the
mausoleum in Shusha, the
construction of the airport in
Fuzuli, the ‘ smart village’
project was launched in
Zangilan. This project is
implemented in 3 villages- first
Agali, second Agali and third
Agali.
This project is
implemented on 5 Social Smart Alternative
Housing Production
main components: services agriculture energy
The smart village project
envisages the construction of 200
houses. This means that about
1000 residents will live here. The
energy needs of the smart village
will be obtained from alternative
energy sources. The construction
of the village is still going on.
Along with the restoration and
construction work in the cities, it is
necessary to restore the roads leading to
these cities and villages. Currently,
repair works is underway on the road
from Fuzuli to Gubadli and Lachin.

contunies. The foundation of the road to
Kalbajar has already been laid. And the
road of victory to Shusha is ready.
Explosives and mines continue to be
cleared in Agdam and other cities.
Many mine maps have already been
captured. After the completion of
mine clearance, construction of new
buildings and roads will begin in
those areas
