The document discusses the differences between optimism and pessimism. Optimism is defined as having a hopeful and confident outlook about the future or the success of something. Pessimism is defined as having a tendency to see the worst aspects of things or believe the worst will happen. The document lists reasons why being optimistic is better for one's health and well-being, as optimists experience less stress, form better relationships, and live longer. It argues that pessimism allows little room for positivity and that one will generally find what they are looking for, whether faults or positives. The conclusion advocates choosing optimism over pessimism.

hopeful and to expect good outcomes. WHAT IS PESSIMISM? A tendency to see the worst aspect of things or believe that the worst will happen.
A pessimist is a person whose personality tends
toward a more negative view of life and expects the worst of any situation. “A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity. An optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.” -Winston Churchill HERE IS WHY YOU SHOULD BE AN OPTIMIST? 1. Optimists feel healthier 2. Optimists are better at fighting illness 3. Optimists live longer 4. Optimists experience less stress 5. Optimists form better relationships 6. Optimists enjoy working more WHAT GOOD CAN BECOME OF BEING PESSIMISTIC? Little if any. And at the same time, being optimistic allows for very little room for negativity to grow! The pessimistic side will always find fault in given situations. When one looks only for faults, they generally will find them, even if they have to manufacture it themselves. The optimistic side will always be on the side of positivity. When one is looking only for the positive in any given situation, then generally they too will find it. CONCLUSIO N Many dreams are extinguished simply by others saying that it is not possible, or you’re crazy if you think that would ever work! What if every dream that has ever been dreamed was put into action? Can you imagine where the world would be today? What if every time someone said “that can’t be done” ten others stepped up and said “of course it can! We’ll show you how!” In the immortal words of Henry Ford, “whether you think you can, or you think you can’t, you’re right!” If both answers are correct, I don’t know about you, but I’m going to choose the positive! THANK YOU! By Kausar Tahir.
