EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

• I have initially explained the practical work that I am undergoing at Podium Systems Pvt Ltd.
• I have also conducted a research so as to understand the change in employee satisfaction rate in
Podium Systems Pvt Ltd pre and post COVID-19.
• The report is made on the basis of both primary and secondary data. Primary data includes
interviewing personnel and gathering information, as well as receiving employee responses
through questionnaire. Secondary report was collected from various websites (including company
website) and journals.
• In the end, I came to some conclusions and have made certain recommendations which might be
of help to the organization.

CONCLUSION
Human resources are the vital source of every organization. Every employee in an organization increases
the productivity and goodwill of every company. An employee, being an individual is treated as an asset in
the company. Hence the organization ought to emphasize on employee satisfaction so that they flourish in
the long run. Employees were relatively more satisfied prior to COVID, considering the various
parameters. Now the feeling of belongingness towards the organization is somewhat lost. However, as per
the analysis, most employees like the idea of working from home.
The management should consider each and every employees’ expectations and inculcate new ways to boost
their interest in their work. They can undertake sessions like baking, painting competition or even plan to
watch a movie together in a digital mode. These will act as a source of relaxation. Employees should be
included in decision making process and be appraised from time to time. If the suggested measures are
taken into consideration, it will definitely help to increase the effectiveness of the employee and as a result
the organization. So in conclusion, job satisfaction is the individual insight about how their job can fulfill
their needs and expectations. The insight will be reflected in the work. If the insight is good, which means
the job satisfaction is good, the work performance and attitude will be good.
SUGGESTIONS

• Include employees’ opinion in company’s decision making


• Provide a good work environment through virtual means
• Empathize with the employees in this tough situation
• Work on balancing the extra stress during the pandemic
