RAMANUJAN

SRINIVASA RAMANUJAN

During his short life , ramanujan
independently Compiled nearly
3,900 results many were completely
novel; his original and highly
unconventional results,suh as the
ramanujan prime,theramanujantheta
function,partition formulae and
mock theta function have opened
entire new areas of work.
Nearly all his claims have now
been proved correct .The
Ramanujan journal ,a peer
reviewed scientific general ,was
established to publush work I all
areas of mathematics influenced
by ramanujan .
And his notebooks –containing
summaries of his published and
unpublished results –have been
analyzed and studied for decades
since his dead as a source of anew
mathematical ideas .
As late as 2011 and again in 2012,tputs
Researches continued to discover that
mere comments in it writing about
“sample properties ‘’ and similar
outputs for certain finding
themselves profound and subtle
number theory results remain
unespected.
He become one of the youngest
fellows of the royale society and only
the second indian member ,and the
first indian to be elected a fellow of
trinity college
Cambridge.
In 1990,ill health now believed to have
been haepatic ameobasis campelled
ramanujan return to india were he
died 1920 at the age of 32 .
His has latter to hardy ,written january
1920, show that he was still
continuing to produce .
His last note book containing
discoveries From that last yearof his
life , caused great excitement among
mathemetician when it was
discovered in 1976..
