Armor

of God
EPHESIANS 6:10-18

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put

on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against
the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and
blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the
powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil
in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of
God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to
stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
EPHESIANS 6:10-18

14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around

your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in
place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that
comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this,
take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish
all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

1 Timothy 6:12-16

“Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you
were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many
witnesses. In the sight of God, who gives life to everything, and of Christ
Jesus, who while testifying before Pontius Pilate made the good confession, I
charge you to keep this command without spot or blame until the appearing of
our Lord Jesus Christ, which God will bring about in his own time—God, the
blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone is
immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can
see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen.”
Discussion questions
Reflect on the way you are wearing God’s armor. Is
there any part that is missing or wrongly worn? What
actions do you need to take to ensure that you have full
protection?

What battles are you facing right now? Do you

completely trust the Lord in this situation of your life?
