Poverty has many kinds, reasons, and harmful effects. Although it is
considered one of the most destructive troubles, there are powerful solutions
that should be applied carefully to get rid of it.
Thus, it is important to know the existed problem and analyze its dimensions
then solve it directly.

Poverty is the state of not having essential possessions or income for person’s
basic needs. Therefore, one cannot live normal life or have his main simple rights
like education, enough food, his own clothes, permanent shelter,…etc.

• Generational Poverty.
• Rural Poverty.
• Urban Poverty.

It depends On the status of social, economical and political aspects.

It is well-known that effects of poverty are destroyed, and actually many people
became victims of it. It affects badly all fields of life by causing other dangerous
problems like starvations, literacy, fatal diseases, economic wars, homelessness, lack
of access to health care, unsafe neighborhoods, weak relationships, and so on.
It really prevents people, especially children, from enjoying life like others or even
living in peace.

However, there are some factors which have a vital rule to decrease its critical
impact.
Ways to fight poverty and eliminate it successfully:
 Develop the economic growth policies and programs.
The government should highlight the poorest area, and rearrange the priorities then
provide these people with all main supplies, not leaving them until they become under
the poverty line. The poor should be given special care from the country like free
services including education, health care, and nutrition.

 Improve management of water and natural resources.

It is necessary to have easy access to water and resources in general. Thus, the
responsible people have to supply them with these facilities, and the rich ought to help
with this process.
 Encourage developed countries to invest in these developing ones.
It is known that trade is the key of growth and progress, so media plays an important
role in this case. A hand of help can be given by lots of means especially nowadays
because of modern technology.
Hence, people can make a good use of social media and technology to make the
world know about poor places and their level of poverty to receive good help.

 Create and improve access to jobs.

People from rich countries can save job opportunities for the poor. It is also possible
to teach these people how to manage their resources, control all what they have
around, and exploit well their abilities.

them good schools and provide these people with
all educational needs as it is the most important key
for every thing in life. Good education will change
their life totally. Furthermore, only by learning they
will become like ordinary people without difference,
and perhaps they will exceed other people.
When person learns well, his level becomes higher
automatically because his skills will be developed,
the mind will be mature and enriched with more
useful information, and he will have great ambitions
to achieve.
To sum up, it is admitted that poverty is an enormous problem that has
many bad effects.
That is why all people should get together to overcome it, and help the
poor as much as they can to rescue humanity. There are a lot of ways to
give a helping hand, just people have to know the real size of the problem
and its drawbacks then get up.
