    HE IS ALL I

    NEED
    Psalm 40:17

    But I am poor and needy;


    yet the Lord thinketh upon me:
    thou art my help and my deliverer;
    make no tarrying,
    O my God.
    I don’t pretend to
    understand the
    mysteries of God
    The secret things
    belong to Him alone
    But I know
    I can trust Him
    even when the way is hard
    He’ll lead me through
    until I’m safely home
    I hold on to His promises
    when earthly answers fail
    I cling to what
    I know is true
    for His Word will prevail
    I place my faith
    in who He is and not
    in what I see
    I know He’ll never
    let me fall and
    He is all I need
    The Lord is Faithful
    even when the pain
    is oh, so deep
    And I cannot
    begin to know His plan
    Circumstances will not change
    the love
    He has for me
    My heart is held securely
    in His hands
    I hold on to
    His promises when earthly
    answers fail
    I cling to what
    I know is true
    for His Word will prevail
    I place my faith
    in who He is
    and not in what I see
    I know He’ll never
    let me fall,
    and He is all I need
    Time and time again
    I’ve felt sweet peace
    in His embrace
    There I find His mercy
    and His all sufficient grace.
    I hold on to His promises
    when earthly answers fail
    I cling to what
    I know is true
    for His Word will prevail
    I place my faith
    in who He is and not
    in what I see
    I know He’ll never
    let me fall and
    He is all I need
    He’s all I need!
