attention.

his will, Kafka instructed his
executor and friend Max Brod to
destroy his unfinished works but
Brod ignored these instructions.

Parts Of The Plot
• Rising Action: The doctor had received work to
help an ill boy who was far from ten miles, and while
he searched for a horse, the groom suddenly appeared
in the barn.

• Climax: After realizing that the doctor could not cure


the patient, the school choir sang some words. So that
his clothes were taken off, and they laid him down
next to the ill boy.

• Falling Action: With the word of honor of an


official doctor to the patient, the doctor could persuade
him and he tried to escape from the house.
Part Of The Plot
• Exposition: The first part of story
includes so many descriptions. It talks
about weather condition, SERIOUSLY ill
patient, and country roads. It also refers to
the servant girl and the groom.
Inciting Incident: When the groom
came and the doctor rode away.

• Denouement: The doctor finally


talked to himself and realized that
everyone had deceived him.
