INTRODUCTION

● Hyperloop is an ultra-high-speed
ground transportation system for
passenger and cargo proposed as
a concept by Elon Musk, CEO of
Tesla and SpaceX, in a white
paper back in 2013.
● It consists of partially evacuated
tubes and passenger or cargo
pods moving at very high speeds.
● Till now we have 4 modes of
transportation I. e rowdway,
railway shipand airway. But to
add to this we have 5th mode of
transpprtation
CONCEPT
● A capsule full of people inlow pressure tube evaluated
on pylon goes really fast
● Magnetic rails accelerate pods to 760 miles per hour
● Hyperloop consists of two main components capsule
and tube.

WORKING PRINCIPLE
● Simply it have the same working principle of air hockey
● The poda would accelarate the cruising speed gradually using the linear
elective motor and globe abouve their track using passive magnetic
levitation or air bearings.
● It is levited and propelled using powerful electromagnet. This itself resucea
losses due to friction, as the train is literally gliding over the tract not in
contact with the track. Hence there is no friction losses allowing the train to
move at high velocity.
● The absence of air in the hyperloop will totally avoid the losses due to air
drag which makes it much faster.

transportation which is twice that of aircraft
● It is very low power consumption
● It is low cost transportation system on long
run
● It us immune to bad weather conditions
