Tenby is most effective in meeting a young family needs, from its award winning beaches which
offer a ‘Bucket and Spade’ style of holiday:
“Tenby Harbour Beach
In the summer months, there's nothing better than sitting on the soft golden sand of
Tenby Harbour Beach. Snuggled within the safety of the harbour walls and just a short walk from
the main multi-storey car park in Tenby, this beach is ideal for young families.”
(Reference visitwales.com)
to it’s local paid attractions such as Oakwood theme park and Folly farm which have plenty to keep
young and teenage children’ boredom at bay.
There are plenty of boat trips in and around the Tenby harbour which offer a variety of trips from
seal watching, to mackerel fishing which prove to be popular with families of all ages and in
particular those with young children looking for adventure.
