What is IoT Cloud?
An IoT cloud is a massive network that supports IoT devices and applications.
This includes the underlying infrastructure, servers and storage, needed for real-time operations and processing.
An IoT cloud also includes the services and standards necessary for connecting, managing,
and securing different IoT devices and applications.

What is WiFi Module?

Wifi Module, also known as serial to WIFI module, which belongs to the transmission layer of IoT.
The function is to convert serial port or TTL level into embedded module.
Traditional hardware devices embedded WIFI modules can use WIFI directly to connect to the Internet, which
is an important part of realizing wireless smart home, M2M and other IoT applications.
How to make Kashika angry?

1. Enter her room when she’s not around

2. Eat the last slice of pizza
3. Give her movie spoilers
Light monitoring System

In order to know if someone enters my room when I’m not around

I made this Light monitoring system which sends SMS alert whenever light
is switched on.
Future Scope of IoT

IoT and AI Amalgamation

Presently, IoT is bound to sending and receiving data or information over the internet
with the help of sensors, WiFi modules and cloud. But if we connect AI techniques to IoT then
instead of sending a message regarding abnormality the system will try to rectify
the abnormality altogether.

While, human intelligence is actually ‘taking’ a perfect decision at the appropriate time,
AI is merely about ‘choosing’ a right decision at the appropriate time. To put it plainly, the creativity
in decision that humans can take is lacking in AI. However, AI when connected to IoT along with
the concepts of Big Data Analytics (BDA) can do wonders.
Real life IoT+AI Projects

Sophia

From Hanson Robotics, Sofia is a social humanoid

robot which is incredibly human-like and can express
emotions through more than 50 facial expressions.
During a conversation, it is able to maintain eye
contact with the human while conversing.
Sophia is world’s first robot to get a country’s full
citizenship. She has even given multiple interviews
and sang in a concert.
Pepper

From SoftBank Robotics, Pepper is a human-shaped robot

which is termed as a humanoid companion which can interact
with humans. It is able to understand a human’s
emotion through his/her facial expression,
body movement, tone of voice, words used, etc.

It can identify four human emotions, namely joy,

sadness, anger and surprise, and reciprocates appropriately
through movement, touch, words and display
on its screen. It is able to move around and interact with
humans and other devices in its vicinity.
Some Drawbacks

1. Expensive
2. Any moment of disconnectivity stops the whole process
