PROBLEMS
•Main Challenge: Securing finance and completing the projected
physical expansion of AUBMC, which is located in a war-torn region that
is experiencing turmoil and chaos. AUBMC should provide great patient
care, education, and research, according to Sayegh. In the medical field,
a Research and Development Centre is required to do high-quality
research.
•Sub-Problems: Attracting and keeping professional and specialized staff
employees during tumultuous periods to assist in preserving
leadership. Individuals with advanced degrees must be recruited for
suitable training and development.
•To increase the quality of healthcare in Lebanon, partnerships with
local, regional, and international institutions must be facilitated.
•New facilities must be outfitted with the most cutting-edge
technologies and equipment.
• Alternative 1: Sayegh can acquire funds by leveraging his Harvard
connections and collaborating with Lebanon's Ministry of Health.
AUBMC can also apply for money from the International
Monetary Fund and the World Bank.
• Alternative 2: Individuals with advanced training and experience
can be hired from industrialized countries such as the United
ALTERNATI States and Europe. Their expertise and research-oriented
background will aid in the implementation of cutting-edge
VES techniques and equipment at the hospital.
• Alternative 3: A recruitment firm can help you find the right job.
This would eliminate the friction between nurses and doctors by
allowing them to focus more on their jobs and increase overall
efficiency in providing outstanding patient care.
• Alternative 4:  Various national and international events can be
held to facilitate relationships and raise public awareness.
Criteria
• Cost effective: the cost is a major criteria as the alternative which is to be chosen must be cost effective so
that the AUBMC does not need to spend a lot of his funds on implementing the alternative
• Time effective: the time is another major criteria in choosing the best alternative for AUMBC as the
alternative must be implemented as soon as possible to gain profit and improve the image of hospital
• Brand Resurrection:  in the context of AUBMC it means that the capability of brand to come back to its
previous position which is good, the alternative which is to be chosen must has to make the image of
AUMBC back to its previous position and at a better position which will give a good boost to the
organizational growth of AUBMC
• Effectiveness of operation: the alternative which is to be used needs to be effective at the time of actual
operation as all the things matter on this if the effectiveness of operation is not up to point the hospital
cannot get the best benefits of it which may lead to less profit
• Employee satisfaction: it is also a most important criteria as the employee if the employee are not satisfied
then the hospital cannot run well and cannot give a good profit to the organization in a long run which is one
of the major thing.
Analysis
Cost Time Brand Employee Overall Rank
Effective Effective Resurrection satisfaction
Alternative 1 8 6 8 5 27 1

Alternative 2 6 7 6 6 25 3

Alternative 3 6 7 7 7 27 2

Alternative 4 5 6 8 5 24 4

All the alternatives are ranked 0-9

Where 0 is the lowest and 9 is the highest
Decision
• From the analysis we can see that alternative 1 and alternative 3 got the same & highest score i.e., Alternative 1:
Sayegh can acquire funds by leveraging his Harvard connections and collaborating with Lebanon's Ministry of
Health. AUBMC can also apply for money from the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank., Alternative
3: A recruitment firm can help you find the right job. This would eliminate the friction between nurses and
doctors by allowing them to focus more on their jobs and increase overall efficiency in providing outstanding
patient care. So, we can use any from this
• But if we see in perspective to gain higher profit, have good funds and also maintain is image by using
this. Therefore, Alternative 1 will be best alternative which we can use to solve the problems which AUBMC is
facing

Implementation
To implement the Alternative 1 Sayegh can look for the funds
• He needs to first reach to his connection and work to collaborate with Lebanon's Minister of Health
• Apply or ask for funds from them
• After getting the funds he can invest them to build new buildings and infrastructure by deciding the suitable
strategy
• If some funds will leave, he can also look forward to apply them for alternative 3 which is another best
alternative for AUBMC by which he can also gain the satisfaction of employees
• For this he can look for a recruiting firm which will help them to came out of this problem
