Shoot Plan

Still Life

Links To Photographer
Before my shoot I have investigated the work of Stacey hill. What I
really liked about her work was the use of aperture and macro shots
she does. From looking at these images of hers I would like to
incorporate the use of aperture in my images.
Concept
For this shoot I would like to try and capture a variety of fruits such as
blueberries and cherry's. I will capture these fruits on different objects
such as spoons bowls etc. The idea behind this shoot is too work in the
style of the genre still life. I chose Stacey hill to give me inspiration as
her work portrays what I am trying to accomplish in my shoot.
Equipment and Location
For my shoot I will need a light box. I will need one of these to ensure I
have a good light source to achieve the best images possible out of my
shoot. In addition to this I will also need a tripod to keep the camera
stable and reduce blur in my images. I will use a variety of backgrounds
in the light box to get a variety of images

The location I will be taking my images in is the studio as it enables me

to have access to both the light box and a tripod plus DSLR cameras.
Lighting
I plan to take my images in the light box as it provides a great light
source meaning the lighting in my images will be good alongside having
a nice clear background.
Composition
For my shoot I will try to capture objects in a light box using a skill
called aperture this will create some cool images where the foreground
is in focus and the background is a blur.
