DAFFODILS
I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o’er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
When the poet went for a walk, he felt like he was a cloud, floating above the hills and valleys below.

They stretched in never-ending line

Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.

The daffodils formed an endless line that stretched around the bay.
In one glance, he saw ten thousand of daffodils. They looked like they were dancing.
