• Use of wood and dung cakes should be replaced cleaner fuels such as biogas,
kerosene or electricity.
• The supply of electricity is limited. Similarly kerosene is also limited.
• Improved stoves for looking like smokeless chullahs have high efficiency and
reduced emission of pollutants including smoke.
• The house design should be incorporatea well ventilated kitchen.
• Use of biogas and CNG ( compressed natural gas) need to be encouraged.
Those the specious of trees such as baval(acacia nilotica) which are least Smokey should
and used. The charcoal is comparatively cleaner fuel .
Indoor pollution due to decay of exposed kitchen waste can be reduced by covering th
properly.
Segregation of waste, pretreatment at source , sterilizationof rooms will help in checkin
pollution.
