Acknowledgment

The internship opportunity I had with Honda dealership was a great chance for learning and professional
development. Therefore, I consider myself as a very lucky individual as I was provided with an opportunity
to be a part of it. I am also grateful for having a chance to meet so many wonderful people and professionals
who led me though this internship period.

Bearing in mind previous I am using this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude and special thanks to
the MD of the firm who in spite of being extraordinarily busy with his duties, took time out to hear, guide
and keep me on the correct path and allowing me to carry out my project at their esteemed organization and
extending during the training.

Introduction to company
▪ Honda has been the world's largest motorcycle manufacturer since 1959, reaching a
production of 400 million by the end of 2019, as well as the world's largest
manufacturer of internal combustion engines measured by volume, producing more
than 14 million internal combustion engines each year. Honda became the second-
largest Japanese automobile manufacturer in 2001. Honda was the eighth largest
automobile manufacturer in the world in 2015.
▪ Honda was the first Japanese automobile manufacturer to release a dedicated luxury
brand, Acura, in 1986. Aside from their core automobile and motorcycle businesses,
Honda also manufactures garden equipment, marine engines, personal watercraft and
power generators, and other products. Since 1986, Honda has been involved with
artificial intelligence/robotics research and released their ASIMA robot in 2000. They
have also ventured into aerospace with the establishment of GE Honda Aero
Engines in 2004 and the Honda HA-420 HondaJet, which began production in 2012.
Honda has two joint-ventures in China: Dongfeng Honda  and Guanggi Honda .

the development strategy pays off and the results can be clearly seen.

This is no job for shy, retiring types as you’ll need to be bursting with self-confidence, love networking
and enjoy presenting and public speaking. It also helps if you have:

Research Methodologies
▪ Survey research
Survey research is one of the most widely used methods to gather data especially for
conducting business research. Surveys involve asking various survey questions to a set of
audiences through various types like online polls, online surveys, questionnaires, etc.

▪ Causal-Comparative research
Causal-Comparative research is a method based on the comparison. It is used to deduce the cause-
effect relationship between variables. Sometimes also known as quasi-experimental research, it
involves establishing an independent variable and analyzing the effects on the dependent variable.

▪ Online research / Literature research


Literature research is one of the oldest methods available. It is very economical and a lot of
information can be gathered using such research. Online research or literature research involves
gathering information from existing documents and studies which can be available at Libraries, annual
reports, etc.

▪   I am happy to complete my internship in Honda dealership under Business development sales
department.
▪ To my own experience the working environment of the organization is very inspiring. The
organization is always keen to implement new rules and actions for improvement. Market
Development Department is really working hard and every day they are coming up with new
unique and innovative ideas to wide spread their business. If this effort goes on than they can able
to cover the untapped markets, increase their distribution reach and which will also ensure future
source of business.
