¿What should we know about COVID-19 coronavirus disease?

Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that cause respiratory infections

that can range from the common cold to more serious illnesses such as

Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS) and severe acute respiratory

syndrome (SARS). The most recently discovered coronavirus causes

COVID-19 coronavirus disease.

 ¿What should we do at home?
Do not open the door of our room if we are in quarantine.
Keep windows closed at all times.
If you must leave the house, wear a cloth face shield or mask
and keep at least 6 feet (2 meters) of distance between you
and others.
You should notify people who have been in close contact with
the sick person. Your local or state health department can help
if you are not sure who to notify.
We should, as far as possible, keep away from other
people and pets in your home.
Wear a cloth face shield (or mask, if you have one) if
you will be in contact with other people.
Cough and sneeze into a tissue. Throw away the
tissue and then wash your hands immediately. Wash
with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, or use an
antiseptic gel containing alcohol.
If possible, stay in a room and use a bathroom
separate from other people.
