Presentation on Hotel Audit Report

Hubli Hotels:

• Hubli is a commercial hub, and there are many hotels in Hubli from Five star to street foods. And in Hubli

there are people who prefer five-star hotels to students who prefer street foods, so Hubli is such a place which

is very commercial and having lot of variety of foods too.

• There are total 82 wards in Hubli, in that we have conducted a hotel survey on 3 wards i.e. ward No. – 47 and

ward no. – 48 and ward No.-51.

• We have conducted a survey on total 40 hotels from luxury hotels to hotels which are poor in infrastructure

and food quality, each person had made a survey on 10 hotels each and tried to get a dept information of that

hotel.

Findings:

1) 26.7 % of hotels are having presence on Facebook, 35 % of hotels are having presence on

Instagram, 11.7 % of hotels are having presence on You Tube, and 1.7 % of hotels are having

presence on other social medias like they are having their own app, and 25 % of hotels are not

having presence on any social medias.

2) 43.9 % of hotels are advertising their business and 56.1 % of hotels are not advertising their

business.

3) 24.4 % hotels have invested 2.5 lakhs and 7.3 % of hotels have invested 2.5 – 5 lakhs and 19.5 % of

hotels have invested 5 – 10 lakhs and 26.8 % hotels have invested 25 lakhs.
4)39 % of hotels use sunflower oil, and 9.8 % of hotels use saffola oil, and 22 % hotels use Ruchi Gold

oil, and 7.3 % of hotels use Gemini oil and 22 % of hotels use Local brand oil.

5) 7.3 %of hotels use local brand of Tea powder, 4.9 % of hotels use Red Lable,4.9 % of hotels use

Patel tea powder, 2.4 % hotels use Mix tea brand, 73.2 % hotels use other brands of Tea powder.

6) 48.8 % hotels use local or Handmade spice brand, 26.8 % hotels use Everest spice band, 2.4% hotels

use MDH, 2.4 % hotels use Badshah, and19.5 % hotels use other brand spice.

7) 58.8 % hotels are special in veg dishes, and 4.9 % hotels are special in Non – Veg dishes and 36.6 %

hotels are special in both veg and Non – Veg dishes.


8)22 % hotels are providing WIFI facility to customers and 78 % of hotels are not providing WIFI facility to

their customers.

9)36.6 % hotels are having uniform for their staff and 63.4 % hotels are not having uniform to their staff.

10) 65.9 % hotels are FSSAI certified and 34.1 % hotels are not FSSAI certified.

11)63.4 % hotels are having washrooms and 36.6 % hotels are not having washroom facility.

12) 34.2 % of hotels have tied up with Zomato, 28.9 % of hotels are tied up with Swiggy and 19.7 % of hotels

are having their own services, 1.3 % of hotels have tied up with Kinght bite, and 15.8 % of hotels have not

tied up with any online Food delivery app or even they are not having their own delivery app
13) 97.6 % hotels are having parcel service and 2.4 % hotels are not having parcel service.

14) 68.3 % hotels are providing catering services and 32.7 % hotels are not having

catering services to their customers during special occasions.

15) 4.9 % hotels have below 50 customer walk-ins and 17.1 % hotels have 50-100 customers,

12.2 % hotels have 100-150 customer per day, 19.5 % hotels have 150-200 customers each

day and 46.3 % hotels have more than 200 customers each day.

16) 19.5 % hotels have received awards and 80.5 % hotels have not received any awards.
17) 53.7 % hotels have expansion plans in future and 46.3 % hotels does not have any plans

for future expansion.

18) 17.1 % hotels are 500 Sq. ft below and 36.6 % hotels are having 500-1000 Sq. ft and 24.4 % hotels are

having 1000-2000 Sq. ft and 12.2 % hotels are having 2000-5000 Sq. ft area and 9.8 % hotels are having

above 5000 Sq. ft area.

19) 95.1 % hotels have parking space and 4.9 5 hotels are not having parking space.

20)48.8 % hotels are having other branches and 51.2 %hotels are not having any other branches.
