COMPARATIVE

Comparative adjectives in English are used to compare


characteristics or qualities between objects, people or animals. You
can compare size, color, height, speed ... Example of a
comparative adjective: The red pencil is larger than the blue
pencil. In this example, a size comparison is made between two
pens. In this case, the larger the comparer used.
RULES (comparative)

 Agregar ER
Faster
Taller
Smaller
Richer

 Monosílaba que termina en c v c se duplica la ultima consonante


Fat- Fatter
Big- Bigger
Hot – Hotter

 Termina en y se reemplaza por i y se agrega ER


Happy – Happier
Heavy – Heavier
Dry - Drier

Superlatives are used to contrast the qualities of two people or objects.
Superlative adjectives can be said to be the highest degree of adjectives that
are intended to exaggerate the benefits or qualities of a person, object or
environment, they are also used to buy in their comparative adjective form.
The superlative is responsible for exaggerating and expressing the possible
characteristics of a person, object or the subject that is being talked about in
the sentence, it takes it to its maximum expression, when we want to use this
word the ideas that can come to mind are diverse, It will help us to
complement the image of what we are trying to convey.

▸ Duplicar consonante y agregar + EST cuando termina en consonante, vocal,
