Marijuana, shabu, cocaine ecstacy, heroin and
inhalants are commonly used by the illegal drug users.
Shabu remains the primary drug abuse

Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Acts of 2012
What is a Drug?
Any substance that is used in the diagnosis, cure,
relief or prevention of diseases
It affects a person physically, mentally, and
emotionally
It can be beneficial to man and classified as legal
or illegal

Prescription Drugs
Are restricted drugs that
can only be purchased
legally by physicians.
No prescription, no drugs.
Non-prescription Drugs
Over-the-counter (OTC)
drugs.
Drugs do not need
prescription from a doctor
in order to buy.
Legal Drugs
Substances that are not
prohibited by a law in a
country.
It can be purchased in
the drugstores
Illegal Drugs
Substances that are prohibited by
the law in a country
It is prohibited to sell, buy, use,
posses or manufacture of the drugs
Any of these acts carry penalties
